A London bar has become the first in the world to use artificial intelligence to help bar staff know which customers should be served first.
The technology developed by DataSparQ uses a cameras and AI to determine where you are in a queue, with the company claiming this will avoid arguments and speed up serving times by between three and five seconds per order.
It will also flag up those who look under-25, and let bar staff know if they have already been checked.
The technology, which ran a trial at 5cc Harrild & Sons bar in Farringdon during a busy shift last month before crunching the data, will now be taken to a pop-up bar in London at the end of September.
